STOTT PILATES is a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to the mind-body exercise developed by Joseph Pilates.
STOTT exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. This involves placing more emphasis on pelvic and shoulder stabilisation, and integration of all the parts of the body into one. It is designed to strengthen the whole body with the main focus on the core muscles of the body. Nubodi’s instructors have received extensive education on anatomy and alignment, and use that knowledge to help each client adjust their form in subtle ways for better results. Our reformer classes are carefully designed to be very challenging, yet balanced and healthy for the body, without making clients hold any positions or exercises for an unsafe amount of time, or excessively load up on springs.
A challenging class filled with straightforward sculpting moves that are easy to follow yet still difficult to do! This workout is appropriate for those new to the Reformer because we omit exercises that have more complicated instructions or higher safety/balance concern, yet each exercise can still make your muscles shake no matter how strong you already are! Our signature hardcore reformer class. With lots of creativity and variety, this class will push your limits in new ways. As we work through each and every muscle group you’ll be challenged to work continuously through every minute and every inch of class. It’s all about muscle endurance and control! Want to add an extra kick to your hardcore reformer workout? This class includes a cardio intervals on the low-impact Jumpboard to give you a really well-rounded workout experience. Enjoy the best of both worlds as this class recruits slow and fast twitch muscle fibers to give you those killer muscle shakes + an elevated heart rate that burns extra calories and strengthens your heart, lungs and muscles! Our reformer classes are taught by STOTT PILATES instructors Carine Moffett and Rieko Pomfret. We limit our classes to 7 students and give our attention to each person to adjust, improve and modify every exercise in subtle ways. Our extensive teacher training experience gives us an eye for tiny details that will make you work harder, smarter and safer!
Balance, Precision and Alignment. We intentionally don’t aim to make our classes the most extreme workout of your life because that comes at a cost…and because we adapt to clients of all abilities working out together in the same class. We DO make our classes very challenging and you can expect to have your muscles shake or to need modifications or to take a break. But we are strategic in how we structure our classes so that you work all of your muscles in a balanced way. Precision and Alignment is the key to seeing the benefits of reformer is just a short time. You will often be sore after our reformer classes, but still able to workout the next day because that is the healthy thing to do!
There is endless creativity and new exercises with each class. We teach standard fitness moves on the reformer (i.e. lunges, squats, planks, rollbacks), including exercises from the traditional STOTT Pilates repertoire. Our sculpting is slow but we also use our reformer jumpboard to give you a cardio workout and burn more calories. Our reformer classes are incredibly effective and fun so be warned…you’ll be hooked!!
With a gliding carriage, ropes, handles, spring resistance and sliding crossbar, you’ll be amazed at what you can do on this pretty piece of equipment. The Allegro reformer is one of the best on the market! With spring resistance, you can adjust the intensity of each exercise to your personal preference, and change your spring settings over time to increase intensity as you get stronger. And the instability of the gliding carriage with challenge you in ways you’ve never experienced before.
bootybarre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. bootybarre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre.

bbarre less is a fusion style class with a true foundation of Pilates performed to the beat of the music. You will experience a mind body connection fused with dance, Pilates and Yoga.
bbarre less is about connecting your mind to the body, so that you not only strive to move with precision but also have FUN. Classic barre exercises have been adapted to be performed in the center of the room either standing or on the floor. You will challenge the core for balance and total body proprioception. Dancers have performed floor barre for generations as it allows them to explore new movements and gives them the strength to move with elegance and ease utilizing the floor for support.
